About the All Ohio Counselors Conference (AOCC)

Over 1,200 counseling professionals will participate and receive continuing education during the All Ohio Counselors Conference 2023. Sessions cover a variety of relevant and timely topics for the counseling profession. The AOCC is co-sponsored by the Ohio School Counselor Association and the Ohio Counseling Association.

Humility is not thinking less of yourself but thinking of yourself less.

Dr. James Knight is a Cleveland, Ohio-based educator, coach/mentor, consultant, author, itinerant speaker/teacher, and equity and inclusion strategist. His work revolves around leading with humility and partnering with other leaders to build dynamic and inclusive spaces where people collaborate, innovate, and engage in fearless dialogue. His primary goal’s to assist in building safe environments where everyone can thrive and bring their best selves.

This keynote by Dr. James Knight will move hearts and get leaders fired up to be the change they wish to see in their community. In this keynote address, Dr. Knight will discuss the humility in building authentic community and how the power of care, love, and honor can lift the hearts of everyone in order to create a community of true belonging. What people need now more than ever in today’s working environment are people who believe in them and who genuinely care and are mindful. In this session, Dr. Knight will touch hearts and inspire the audience to show up differently within their respective spaces to make a positive impact.

Continuing Education Credits

The AOCC will issue certificates to the email address used in registration within 30-60 days of the end of the conference.

Certificates will be emailed with both total contact hours and separated for those that qualify for CE Credit Hours, Supervision, Ethics. Certificates of attendance can be used as documentation to confirm CEs for multiple licenses and certifications.

The AOCC continues to offer continuing education through multiple sources to support participants seeking license renewal. Please review each session description to identify if it is eligible for CE Credit Hours.

OHIO CSWMFT CLOCK HOURS-LPC, LPCC, LPCC-S, SW, MFT

To receive a certificate with proof of Continuing Education clock hours, participants must have their badges scanned upon entry to the session.

Certificates are available to participants who sign up and attend eligible sessions during the conference, in compliance with OCSWMFT regulations. AOCC will provide LPC/LPCC/LPCC-S/SW/MFT clock hours through CSWMFT for any session noted as being eligible (noted as clock hours in all promotional materials). The Ohio Counseling Association is a counselor, social worker and marriage and family therapist board. (CSWMFT) certified provider of counselor CE Credits (Provider N0RCS031407) and certified to offer both Supervision and Ethics continuing professional education credits.

NATIONAL CERTIFIED COUNSELORS (NCC) THROUGH THE NATIONAL BOARD FOR CERTIFIED COUNSELORS (NBCC) CLOCK HOURS

For active NCCs, you may request a "Continuing Education Verification Request" form directly from NBCC. The form will need to be completed and additional documentation sent directly to NBCC. This process verifies if non-NBCC continuing education activity does or does not meet NBCC continuing education requirements.

To receive a certificate with proof of Continuing Education clock hours, participants must have their badges scanned upon entry to the session.

SCHOOL COUNSELOR CEUS

School counselors wishing to earn CEUs should contact their LPDC to ensure approval of their conference attendance for CEUs.

To receive an AOCC Certificate of Attendance with proof of session attendance, participants must have their badges scanned upon entry to the session.

Certificates will be available to participants who had their badges scanned upon entry to session(s) within 30-60 days of the end of the conference. Submit it to your LPDC for credit upon completion of the conference.

NOTE: Individuals holding a valid school counselor license who are not employed by an educational institution cannot count conference participation toward license renewal unless you opt to receive the graduate credit available.

ALL OTHER LICENSES AND CERTIFICATIONS

Please consult with your representative licensure or certification board for the process of post program approval.
